The commission process

1. Share ideas

We begin with a no-obligation conversation about the words, names, initials or concepts you would like me to represent. Everything you share with me remains completely confidential.

2. Explore the possibilities

Following this, I’ll provide some initial sketches together with a quote. We’ll then be able to decide whether the project is the right fit. If we choose not to proceed, that is absolutely fine.

3. Develop the design together

If you would like me to go ahead, I will refine the artwork — with your input at every stage — until we’re both happy with the result.

I design every piece of artwork individually and by hand. No templates are used, and every commission is created with care, creativity and attention to detail.

The finished artwork can be supplied as a high-resolution electronic file or as a high-quality professional print at your preferred size. Prints can also be professionally framed, with a wide variety of frame styles, materials and colours available. I handle the framing process myself to ensure the highest standards of presentation. Printed artwork is carefully packaged and posted to you.
